Why is my Fuse board / RCD not resetting?Most fuse boards in the UK contain an RCD, this device is a safety feature which main purpose is stop electrical faults that could result in harm to the electrical system or to the end user of the circuit, you. When this device trips it sometimes is not obvious what's caused it. This can be due to a multitude of issues; it also won't reset until the fault has been found and rectified in some way. How long does it take to find a fault?This question comes up a lot and the honest answer is its situational. Around 80% of callouts we can fix within the hour, others may require additional work to be carried out if for a example if a cable is damaged inside a cavity or wall. Our aim is to get your power up and running ASAP.

Is there a cancellation fee / deposit ?At ECC we don't have a cancellation fee or deposit before we attend the job. If work has been carried out to get your property up and running we will require payment as usual.

What is our response time for Emergency callouts?ECC covers all of Kent and the South East, we have engineers in different parts of Kent so we can normally get to you within the 45 mins to an hour. If we are experiencing a high volume of calls we will arrange the quickest time possible to attend.
